Helping Mom through treatment

If you’re a care partner to a mom, there’s a lot you can do to help them out before and during their treatment with ZULRESSO® (brexanolone).

number one

Help them arrange for full-time childcare for the duration of the
2.5-day treatment and assure them the needs of the household and the rest of the family are maintained in their absence. Also, help Mom recruit their community of support, so they know that everyday things like meal prep, pet care, or transportation are in good hands.

number two

Talk to them about questions and concerns they may have regarding the treatment, so you can help them remember to talk with their healthcare provider and the team at the Treating Center about them.

number three

Make sure Mom goes to the Treating Center not only with necessities like toiletries, health insurance info, ID, and a list of other medications (both prescription and over-the-counter), but also ensure they have their favorite comfy clothes or blankets, books or magazines, a tablet loaded with favorite movies or shows, and anything else from home that will make them feel relaxed for the duration of their treatment.
