About ZULRESSO
How ZULRESSO works
There are several systems in the brain that may influence the development of PPD. One of those systems is called GABA. Among other functions, the GABA system helps networks in the brain communicate with each other to regulate mood.
While the exact way ZULRESSO®(brexanolone) works is not fully understood, ZULRESSO is believed to interact with the GABA system. This may help treat the symptoms of PPD.
